About this event
Over the past decade, there has been a revolution in the Champagne that graces our wine lists. The familiar names of the Grandes Marques have been joined by a patchwork of much smaller domaines that have approaches, terroirs and styles that are breathtakingly diverse. These Grower Champagnes are much closer to the soil and the vines than more commercially minded houses and offer a real chance to celebrate the terroir and the specific sub regions within Champagne. We will be joined by Cameron Foster from importer Deux Six and Simon Thorpe from Thorman Hunt for a discussion about these wines, the people behind them, the unique challenges that shape them and the rich rewards in the glass.
