Burgers & Burgundy

We came up with the idea for the event by wanting to combat the notion that ‘wine tastings and pairing evenings can sometimes feel intimidating, snobby, and bewildering’. What better way to take all of the snobbery, and quite frankly the class, out of a wine tasting evening, than pairing beautiful wines with the likes of Chicken Nuggets, Burgers, Fries and Apple Pie. Whilst this event isn't affiliated with the restaurant of the Golden Arches we will be indulging in their finest fare, we'll pair each with a different fine wine, including Big Mac and red Burgundy and champagne and fries - Madonna agrees, her guilty pleasure is apparently French fries and Krug rosé. We'll taste our way through 6 wines in total, each with an introduction to the wine and an explanation of why it works so well with each of the pairings. This tasting is open to all wine lovers and no prior tasting experience is required, just a desire to discover!
