Cappuccio & Italian Indulgence: A Christmas Aperitivo

A festive Italian aperitivo with rare Italian regional salumi, UK-exclusive wines, signature spritz and sociable sharing tables. Some of the best Italian evenings begin around a shared table—with good food, an unusual bottle of wine and people who may arrive as strangers but do not remain strangers for long. Cappuccio and Italian Indulgence invite you to a special Christmas aperitivo in the heart of Hemel Hempstead: a warm and informal evening inspired by the Italian pleasure of eating, drinking and spending time together. This will not be an ordinary drinks evening. We will introduce you to regional Italian flavours that are rarely found in the UK, together with two distinctive wines that Italian Indulgence imports exclusively and that are not otherwise available in the country. Your £25 ticket includes a generous Italian sharing selection featuring Prosciutto Crudo, Tuscan Finocchiona and Spianata Calabra; Taleggio, Provolone and Ubriaco al Vino Rosso; focaccia and traditional Italian taralli; and your first 175ml glass of either Cortese Frizzante, an Italian sparkling white wine ideal for aperitivo, or Malvasia di Casorzo DOC, a rare sweet sparkling red wine from Piedmont. A non-alcoholic alternative will be available from Cappuccio. During the evening, Cappuccio will offer its own selection of drinks, spritz, hot drinks, food and other refreshments. Italian Indulgence will also serve additional glasses of Malvasia and Cortese, together with signature spritz created using these two wines. There will also be a small Christmas Gift Corner, where you can discover Italian wines, regional products and festive gift ideas to take home or give to someone special. Our sociable sharing tables are an important part of the experience.
