Chef & Wine Dining Experience

Experience an exclusive evening of Italian cuisine with live chef demonstrations, fine food, and Prosecco at Mercante. Join us for A Taste of Mercante, an intimate chef's table-style experience celebrating the flavours, techniques, and traditions of Italian cuisine. Over the course of two hours, guests will enjoy a specially curated four-course menu while watching our culinary team demonstrate selected dishes and share the inspiration behind them. With opportunities to learn about ingredients, preparation methods, and authentic Italian cooking, this is a unique chance to step behind the scenes of Mercante's kitchen. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and our signature Saffron Arancini with Green Aioli. The evening menu includes: Starter Beef Carpaccio with aged Parmesan, rocket salad and balsamic dressing. Live Demonstration & Intermediate Course Pappardelle with traditional Bolognese sauce. Live Demonstration & Main Course Gilt-Head Bream with baby fennel and salsa verde. Dessert Demonstration Mercante's classic Tiramisu, presented by our pastry team. Each demonstration and course presentation will last approximately 15 minutes. Some preparation will be completed in advance to ensure the best dining experience, while key elements of selected dishes will be demonstrated live by our chefs. All guests will enjoy full tasting portions of every dish featured on the menu.
