About this event
Join us for the tastiest date at YWS! A glorious Fish and Chip Supper, in the cosy surroundings of The Vic, will be served alongside a tasting of 6 perfectly picked wines. Starting with classics like Picpoul and Albariño, we'll finish with both a Premier Cru and a Vintage Blanc de Blanc Champagne. Your evening will consist of two parts: Approx 7pm-7.45pm tutored tasting of 6 wines which pair like a dream with Fish and Chips. We'll show you how to taste wine like a pro, teach you the principles of food and wine pairing and introduce you to each wine. Then from approx 7.45pm-9pm, enjoy hot and fresh fish and chips with mushy peas from The Victoria kitchen. These evenings offer a lot of fun, a lot of laughs and best of all... a lot of tasty food and wine! If you are keen to learn a little more about wine and food pairing but would appreciate a more relaxed and casual approach then this is the tasting for you!
