Fine Wine Friday – Domaine Borgeot, Burgundy

Join us at Davy’s Wine Shop, Greenwich for our monthly Fine Wine Friday tasting. On the last Friday of each month throughout 2026, we open some of our favourite and finest bottles to taste. For October, we are delighted to be pouring a lively and fresh Burgundian Chardonnay. Laurent and his brother Pascal are passionate about every aspect of their vines. From their base in the village of Remigny, on the borders of Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay, they work 20 hectares over a variety of plots in the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Domaine Borgeot Rully Blanc: Hand-harvested and double-sorted. Pressed, then débourbage in stainless steel before transferring to barrel. Aged with 20 to 25% new oak, with the remainder one to two years old for 12 months, creating a medium-bodied wine, with a clean precise finish.
