Fine Wine Friday – Domaine de la Choupette, Burgundy

Join us at Davy’s Wine Shop, Greenwich for our monthly Fine Wine Friday tasting. On the last Friday of each month throughout 2026, we open some of our favourite and finest bottles to taste. For August, we are delighted to be pouring a sophisticated Burgundy Pinot Noir. Domaine de la Choupette is a young estate, founded in 1992 and very much a family affair, with two brothers at the helm – Jean Christophe takes care of the 12 hectares of vines, certified HVE3 from 2022, whilst Phillipe handles vinification and maturation. Both whites and reds are classically made, with a focus on discreet wood and elegant fruit. We will be tasting the Domaine de la Choupette Santenay Rouge Vieilles Vignes, a fine representation of this illustrious appellation, vinified, aged in oak barrels and bottled on the property.
