Fine Wine Friday – Nardi Viticoltori, Tuscany

Join us at Davy’s Wine Shop, Greenwich for our monthly Fine Wine Friday tasting. On the last Friday of each month throughout 2026, we open some of our favourite and finest bottles to taste. For September, we are delighted to be pouring a complex Tuscan Chianti. Nardi Viticoltori is a family-run estate near Castellina in the heart of Chianti, one of the youngest wineries in the region. Giacomo Nardi returned to his roots in 2012 after honing his craft at prestigious Chianti estates to produce wines from vineyards tended by his family for generations. We will be tasting the Nardi Viticoltori Chianti Classico Riserva, a complex, full-bodied red fermented in stainless steel for 12 days, with 18 days of maceration, aged 16–18 months in Tuscan oak, and bottle-aged for at least 12 months.
