About this event
Once again, our Napoleon Cellar will provide the backdrop for an evening devoted to the classic wines and cuisine of France. Our Executive Chef, Stewart Turner, will curate a four-course menu inspired by beloved bistro and brasserie favourites, paired with a selection of iconic French wines.
Our journey begins with two benchmark whites: a crisp Pouilly-Fumé from Ch. du Nozet in the Loire, followed by a Grand Cru Riesling from Famille Hugel, an estate with a winemaking heritage dating back to the early 17th century.
We then move to Burgundy, home to some of the world’s most revered wines. First comes the richness and finesse of Meursault from Michel Bouzereau, followed by Domaine Jean Grivot’s Vosne-Romanée, a village renowned for producing Pinot Noir at its most silky, fragrant, and captivating.
For the main course, two powerful yet refined reds take centre stage: a Côte-Rôtie from cult producer Marie & Pierre Bénetière, served alongside the beautifully mature 2016 Ch. Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, one of Pauillac’s most celebrated estates.
To finish, we will serve a sumptuous dessert paired with Ch. Rieussec Sauternes. We hope you can join us for an evening of timeless French cuisine, exceptional wines, and great company in one of No.3’s most enchanting spaces.
