About this event

The launchpad to your wine tasting journey! Spend a couple of hours in the company of one of our qualified tutors practicing how to swirl, sniff and slurp your way around a glass of wine: learn to taste both whites and reds like a pro! Our Intro Evening is a great way to get started with YWS. You'll taste three whites and three reds, learn a little bit about some of the key grape varieties, typical wine making techniques, which countries are perfectly suited to wine production , and most importantly, you'll learn more about what you enjoy drinking and why. We'll touch on how to pair wine with food, why some wines are so much more expensive than others and what labelling terms like 'Reserva' actually mean. If you fancy a little wine 'taster' session, this is just the ticket!
