Originally from Germany, Timo made his way to Australia's Yarra Valley, where he now organically farms his tiny 2.5-hectare vineyard, Bloody Hill - named for its famously steep slopes ("because it's bloody steep!"). From this remarkable site, alongside a handful of carefully selected single-vineyard parcels, Timo produces handcrafted wines that are celebrated for their elegance, purity and unmistakable sense of place. Best known for his world-class Pinot Noir , Timo has earned an international reputation for creating expressive, terroir-driven wines that consistently captivate critics and wine lovers alike. His philosoph y is simple: let the vineyard speak, intervene as little as possible, and make wines full of energy, character and life. Throughout the evening, Timo will guide you through a carefully curated selection of his wines, sharing the stories behind each bottle - from the vineyards and grape varieties to his winemaking philosophy, the challenges he embraces, and the small details that shape the wine in your glass.
