About this event

Northern Wine Festival returns in March 2027 for its second edition, bigger and better than ever! Held at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral's iconic Crypt Hall, the festival offers wine lovers the chance to explore over 100 wines from around the world. Highlights include the return of NWF's English Spotlight with estates from Kent, Sussex, Devon, and more, plus a new Mini Bordeaux Wine Festival featuring 5 producers from across Bordeaux appellations. The 2027 edition introduces private Masterclasses in the cathedral’s exclusive 'Green Room' with themes including 'The Future of Wine', 'There’s A Bordeaux For Everyone', and 'What Is It With Wine & Cheese?'. Attendees can enjoy curated blind tastings led by expert educators, food from top independents like Bone & Block, Spanish Caravan, KELP Oysters, and Crosby Cheese & Charcuterie, and exclusive access to off-the-beaten-track wines from emerging regions such as Croatia, Lebanon, Uruguay, China, and Mexico. The event spans three sessions: Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday evening. Tickets include wine samples, a branded tasting glass, tote bag, and festival brochure, with options to upgrade with additional tasting cards and Masterclass bookings. All Masterclasses sold out in 2026, so early booking is recommended.
