About this event
We are delighted to host another evening in conjunction with fabulous Old Vine Conference. This time we are going to focus our tasting specifically on the old vines of Italy. Expect some magical vineyards and beautiful wines to make an appearance!
Those of you who came to last year's tasting will surely remember what a stellar lineup we enjoyed? It's really important to raise awareness amongst winedrinkers about the value of special old vine sites. Not only do the wines taste great, but they come with fascinating stories too!
Why join our Old Vine Conference Masterclass?
- Old Vines are a precious resource, we often lose them because they are more expensive to work and make wine from. Supporting tastings like this raises the profile of special vineyards.
- Old Vines are often well-situated to face the threats of climate change. The are perfectly calibrated to their surroundings and access water deep in the ground. Many winemakers report that their old vines cope well in times of draught and heat.
- Old Vines are usually associated with lower yields, that mean less fruit, but often it carries greater intensity and complexity. Meaning evenings like this are full of incredible tasting wines!
Come along to discover more about the ancient vines of Italy and support the work done by the Old Vine Conference to secure the future for incredible vineyards like these.
- Wines to be annouced shortly!
