About this event
Champagne always gets all the glory, but don’t you just love prosecco? With its fresh flavour, pleasing bubbles and gentle price tag, it makes it not only easy to drink, to be enjoyed as an aperitif or with food, but most important, makes it fun to drink.
Tonight, is all about Prosecco, and that’s all we will be tasting. However, you may be pleasantly surprised with what we have lined up. At Shropshire Wine School, we have gone out of our way to find you the best around, and at the best prices too!
So, if you not only want to taste, but want to find out what the difference between DOC and DOCG , frizzante and spumante or what they mean by Conegliano Valdobbiandene, this is the perfect evening for you….and your friends!
We will taste 6 different Prosecco’s, of differing values and qualities, learn a bit about what makes them different to their sparkling rivals, and why they are generally so much less expensive (and to some, better) and most importantly, where to find the best deals. We will talk about when and where these bubblies come into their own.
All tastings include; minimum of 6 wines, tasting notes, tasting sheet, use of professional tastings glasses and nibbles.
We don’t sell wine and are completely independent.
