About this event

Hosted wine tasting. Expand below for full details.

Some vignerons say that wine is made in the vineyard, rather than the cellar. The importance of terroir feels clear to us when we taste the intense and mineral-driven wines grown on ancient sea beds. As the primordial oceans dried up, the organisms that lived there became fossils that eventually became part of the soil. Tonight we'll consider the delicious effect of this phenomena in our glasses - explore the magic of Chablis, the crystalline purity of Sancerre and the power of Tokaji, and more.

Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
