About this event

The world of non-alcoholic wine has changed dramatically. Forget overly sweet, one-dimensional drinks — today’s best bottles are all about structure, balance, acidity, tannin, texture and finish. In other words: wine things. For this tasting, we’ve gone hunting for the bottles that genuinely stand out. We’ll taste a hand-picked selection of alcohol-free reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines from producers who take winemaking seriously. Some of these wines begin life exactly like their alcoholic counterparts, going through real fermentation before the alcohol is gently removed. This helps preserve the aromas, body and complexity that make wine so enjoyable in the first place. Along the way, we’ll explore what makes a great alcohol-free wine, how different styles work with food, and which bottles are worth reaching for when you’re hosting friends, heading out for dinner — or simply fancying a really good glass on a Wednesday night. Because alcohol-free doesn’t have to mean wine without the fun!
