About this event

At the helm of each of the cellars presented is a wine genius or a respected oenologist or a passionate winemaker or generations upon generations of grapegrowers from the very, very, very Old World-Producing countries, such as Greece, Israel, Armenia, Georgia, Lebanon, etc. They use local varieties, deeply rooted in Germanic, Greek, Slavic and Roman cultural influences, for creating wines in a modern, fresh styles thrughout. Example of the wines we shall taste on the night: A wine made with one of Greece’s finest indigenous grape from the best wine region of Nemea, a red blend from Lebanon, a Kosher wine from Israel, THE infamous Red Bull's Blood wine from Hungary, a wine from one of Georgia's indigenous grape varieties, from the country's most awarded winery, and a wine fermented and aged in clay amphoras, orange wine is THE wine par excellence of Georgia - being the cradle of wine itself. A treat not to be missed from what is believed to be the very first wine-producing country in the world!
